1. Prepare for valve lubrication
(1) Operators should be familiar with the structure principle of the valve and site safety specifications, and should not carry dangerous goods and mobile phones when entering the operation area.
(2) Be familiar with the proper wearing and use of personal safety protective equipment to ensure personal safety during operation.
(3) Can correctly use fire extinguishers, effectively deal with dangerous substances in the workplace, do a good job of maintenance preparation.
(4) Complete sets of special valve oiling tools, other common tools (adjustable wrench, fixed wrench), cleaning supplies (large cloth, oil paper, garbage bags, etc.), oiling adapter.
⑤ Prepare complete labor protection supplies, such as antistatic clothes, labor protection shoes, goggles, safety hats, gloves, etc.
⑥ Familiar with the correct use of manual grease gun.
2. Precautions for valve lubrication operation
① Before the valve is oased, the amount of valve grease should be determined according to the valve diameter.
(2) During fat injection, pay attention to the change of fat injection pressure. The pressure can't be too low or too high. According to different density forms, appropriate grease injection pressure should be taken.
③ When oiling, attention should be paid to the opening and closing state of the valve. In general,
Ball Valve oiled should be in full open state,
Gate Valve oiled should be in full closed state. Do not inject grease in the half open state.
(4) When grease is injected, attention should be paid to valve body blowdown and valve plug pressure relief. After the valve pressure test, there is a certain amount of air and water in the sealing chamber. It is best to release pressure and drain water before applying oil. After oiling, remember to tighten the drain pipe and plug to prevent safety accidents.
When oiling, the oiling at the valve stem can not be ignored.
⑥ When the grease gun is connected with the hanger, the grease outlet shall not be directed at the person, so as to prevent the accident caused by residual pressure injection.
